I. Overview:

Professional project management according to international standards is important to ensure a universally adopted project management framework. With a mission to develop and deliver project management standards, PMI® has compiled PMBOK® 7th edition, which is a compilation of the dedication of thousands of project management professionals around the world. world, is the common knowledge of mankind, most relevant to reality, most commonly and frequently used, applicable to all kinds of projects.

This edition of the PMBOK® Guide contains three sections:

  • Project Performance Domains. This section identifies and describes eight project performance domains that form an integrated system to enable successful delivery of the project and intended outcomes.
  • Tailoring. This section describes what tailoring is and presents an overview of what to tailor and how to go about tailoring individual projects.
  • Models (23), Methods (61), and Artifacts (73). This section presents a brief description of commonly used models, methods, and artifacts. These models, methods, and artifacts illustrate the range of options project teams can use to produce deliverables, organize work, and enable communication and collaboration.
